From Central London take A3 to Portsmouth then follow route M275 towards Isle of Wight car ferry terminal ( Wightlink Ferry ). The crossing takes approx. 40 minutes when arriving in Fishbourne (IOW) follow exit signs to Ryde A3054 this route will take you to Sandown then follow sign post to Shanklin A3055 . When arriving in Shanklin there will be a sign post indicating Ventnor if you follow this direction which is actually Queens Road you will see the Hotel on the right hand side at the bottom of the hill .
